JAYSON A. HYMES, M.D., MPH, FAPCM, FASAM, QME

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Jayson A. Hymes is triple board-certified in Addiction Medicine, Pain Medicine, and Anesthesiology with over 40 years of experience treating addiction, chronic pain, and complex medical conditions.

A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Hymes completed his residency and fellowship training through Harvard-affiliated teaching hospitals. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM) and a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Board of Anesthesiology.

As Medical Director, Dr. Hymes provides expert oversight of withdrawal management, complex medical care, and integrated treatment to support optimal outcomes for first responders and high-performance professionals.

Barbara Pavlo, Psy.D., Clinical Director

BARBARA PAVLO, PSY.D.

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Barbara C. Pavlo is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience as a therapist, educator, consultant, and speaker.

She has served as a police psychologist with the Los Angeles Police Department since 2006, providing clinical care and consulting on high-risk incidents, including SWAT barricades and hostage negotiations.

A recognized expert in police morale, Dr. Pavlo has worked extensively with officers and mental health professionals and co-authored The Blue Morale Project, a key reference in the field. She was awarded the LAPD Meritorious Award for her contributions to officer suicide prevention.

LICENSED MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPIST

Katie Ryan, LMFT is a seasoned clinician with 25 years of experience specializing in trauma, substance use, addiction, and residential treatment.

She is an EAGALA-certified equine clinician with experience working with veterans diagnosed with PTSD and brings expertise in integrating equine therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and wellness into the recovery process.
